Soft core uses a unique manufacturing process different from any other methods used today. We are the first “soft” surfboard that offers an expanded polypropylene closed cell core with a lightweight bi-axle fiberglass/hardwood stringer, providing incredible stiffness and durability. We also utilize a dual density, nonskid TPV deck skin which eliminates the use of wax, while giving the surfer incredible traction. Plus, our dual density, intermediate TPF layer reduces the chance of delaminating. These state of the art, innovative deck skins are incredibly durable and don't rip, tear, puncture or scratch like the other "soft" surfboards on the market. Our HDPP bottom skins are thicker than traditional "soft" surfboards adding to the boards rigidity, as well as, durability. Our HDPP bottom skins turn up on the rail to eliminate any hard edge This reduces the chance of catching an edge. We have managed to combine a user friendly board for the beginner while offering performance to the advanced surfer as well. We offer two types of fins. A urethane flexible tri-fin system which is ideal for the beginner or a hard performance tri-fin system that caters to the surfer's performance at any level.
